PRIVACY PROTOCOLS
DATA COLLECTION, USAGE, AND PROTECTION STANDARDS
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how TRAILASAUR LLC ("TRAILASAUR", "we", "us") collects, shares, and uses any information that relates to you when you use our website at trailasaur.com (the “Site”), engage with us on social media, or otherwise interact with us (your “Personal Data”). This Policy also explains the rights you have concerning the Personal Data that we process and how you can exercise these rights.
2. Principles
TRAILASAUR LLC manifests its commitment to privacy and data protection by embracing the following principles:
- We use Personal Data lawfully, fairly, and in a transparent manner.
- We collect no more Personal Data than necessary, and only for a legitimate purpose.
- We retain no more data than necessary or for a longer period than needed.
- We protect Personal Data with appropriate security measures.
3. Data We Collect
This policy applies only to information collected on the Site and in our services. We collect two types of information:
- Personal Data — information that identifies you personally and that you provide to us, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, and sometimes your Internet Protocol (IP) address. We may collect this when you create an account, visit our Site, or complete a purchase.
- Non‑personal Data — technical or aggregated information that does not identify you personally. Examples include cookies, web beacons, and demographic information.
- Health and Fitness Data — when you connect a supported health service and grant permission, we may collect activity-related health and fitness data, such as workouts, distance, duration, route data associated with activities, and calories burned.
4. Usage Data
To improve your experience, we may collect information on how you navigate the Site, information about your connection, and the technical means you use to access our Site. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, time and date of your visit, time spent on pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.
5. Location Data
With your permission, we may use and store information about your location to improve and customize your experience. You can enable or disable location services via your device settings at any time.
Health Data
When you connect TRAILASAUR to supported health platforms, such as Health Connect on Android or Apple Health on iOS, TRAILASAUR may access, collect, import, and sync activity-related health and fitness data that you authorize.
This may include:
- Exercise or workout sessions.
- Activity type.
- Distance.
- Duration.
- Start and end time.
- Route or location points associated with an activity, when available and authorized.
- Calories burned, including active calories and total calories, when you enable calorie sync.
- Related activity metrics needed to display, import, export, or synchronize completed activities.
TRAILASAUR uses this Health data to:
- Import completed activities into your Trailasaur ride history.
- Export completed Trailasaur activities to connected health services.
- Display activity summaries, including distance, duration, route, and calories when available.
- Prevent duplicate activity imports and exports.
- Maintain sync consistency between TRAILASAUR and connected fitness services.
- Provide user-facing activity history, rewards, analytics, and app functionality.
TRAILASAUR does not use Health data for advertising. TRAILASAUR does not sell Health data. TRAILASAUR does not share Health data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Health data is accessed only when you connect a supported health service, grant the required permissions, and enable the relevant sync features. You can disable health sync or revoke permissions at any time through Connected Services in the TRAILASAUR app or through your device's health permission settings.
Health Connect on Android
On Android, TRAILASAUR may use Health Connect to read or write activity data that you authorize. Depending on the sync features you enable, this may include exercise sessions, distance, calories burned, and related activity metrics. Calorie data may include Active Calories Burned and Total Calories Burned.
TRAILASAUR requests only the Health Connect permissions needed for the features you enable. For example, calorie permissions are used only when calorie sync is enabled so TRAILASAUR can show calories on activity summaries and keep completed activities consistent between TRAILASAUR and Health Connect.
You can manage or revoke Health Connect permissions at any time in Android Settings or the Health Connect app.
Apple Health on iOS
On iOS, TRAILASAUR may connect with Apple Health only when you choose to enable Apple Health features and grant permission. TRAILASAUR may read or write authorized workout and activity data so completed activities can be imported, exported, and displayed in your Trailasaur ride history.
You can manage or revoke Apple Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.
Health Data Sharing
We do not sell Health data. We do not use Health data for advertising. We do not share Health data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
When you enable a connected health service, TRAILASAUR may send activity data to that service at your direction, such as exporting a completed Trailasaur activity to Health Connect or Apple Health. We may also store activity data in our backend systems, such as Firebase, to provide Trailasaur features including ride history, sync, rewards, account functionality, and activity analytics.
Health Data Retention and Deletion
TRAILASAUR keeps activity and Health data only as long as needed to provide the app's features, maintain your ride history, support sync functionality, comply with legal obligations, or until you delete the data or your account where deletion is supported. You may revoke health permissions at any time through your device settings. Revoking permission stops future access but may not automatically delete activity records already saved in TRAILASAUR.
Health Data Controls
You can control Health data access by:
- Enabling or disabling health sync in TRAILASAUR Connected Services.
- Enabling or disabling calorie sync separately, where available.
- Revoking Health Connect permissions in Android settings or the Health Connect app.
- Revoking Apple Health permissions in iOS Settings or the Apple Health app.
- Deleting activities or requesting account/data deletion where supported.
7. Mobile App & Location Tracking
When you use the TRAILASAUR mobile application, we collect GPS and motion sensor data while you record rides. This data may be collected even when the app is in the background or your screen is off, for the purpose of accurately recording your ride, providing rewards, and powering features such as maps, insights, and safety.
Health and fitness data from services such as Health Connect or Apple Health is accessed separately from GPS ride recording and only when you connect the service, grant permission, and enable the relevant sync feature.
We do not share your ride or location data with third parties for advertising purposes. Ride data is stored securely and used only to provide app functionality, rewards, and analytics to improve the TRAILASAUR service.
9. How We Use Data
TRAILASAUR LLC uses the collected data for various purposes, including to:
- Provide and maintain our services.
- Notify you about changes to policies and order details.

TRAILASAUR LLC will take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy and that no transfer occurs without adequate safeguards. We will retain your information for as long as you are a TRAILASAUR customer and as required to meet legal obligations globally.
TRAILASAUR keeps activity and Health data only as long as needed to provide the app's features, maintain your ride history, support sync functionality, comply with legal obligations, or until you delete the data or your account where deletion is supported. Revoking health permissions stops future access but may not automatically delete activity records already saved in TRAILASAUR.
11. Data Access
Your Personal Data is available only to those who need it to accomplish the intended processing purpose. Where necessary, your Personal Data may be shared with suppliers and subcontractors (processors and sub‑processors) acting on our behalf and with independent third parties, including for identity verification and fraud prevention.
12. Data Security
We use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Data Disclosure & Legal Requirements
